Purpose and scope

This policy applies to all users, creators, performers, staff, contractors, uploads, posts, clips, profile material, messages, purchases, complaints, and any other service activity. Its purpose is to prevent child sexual abuse material and child exploitation, respond immediately to suspected abuse, preserve evidence securely, and make required reports to competent authorities.

Prohibited activity

Users must not upload, request, create, sell, distribute, link to, describe, solicit, or possess CSAM through RevealThis. Sexualized content involving a person under 18, grooming, sextortion of a minor, or attempts to evade child-safety controls are prohibited.

Prevention and detection

RevealThis uses layered controls including age assurance for viewers, document and selfie identity verification for creators and performers, performer identity and release records, upload restrictions, content and account risk indicators, moderation queues, user reports, and trained human review. A person who cannot be verified as an adult may not be approved as a creator or depicted performer.

Content that is monetized or adult in nature must remain blocked until required creator, performer, release, and moderation checks are complete. Staff may request additional evidence, restrict account functions, or escalate suspicious activity at any point in the review process.

Immediate response and reporting

Suspected CSAM is immediately restricted from access, escalated to authorized Trust and Safety or Compliance personnel, and preserved without unnecessary duplication. Accounts, messages, content, payouts, purchases, and publishing functions may be suspended while the matter is investigated.

When staff identify apparent CSAM or child exploitation, RevealThis preserves relevant account identifiers, URLs, upload records, report records, moderation notes, payment references, and available technical metadata, then reports to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children CyberTipline where required by 18 U.S.C. § 2258A. RevealThis also cooperates with appropriate law enforcement and safeguarding authorities.

Report suspected CSAM immediately through the public complaints process or at complaints@revealthis.com. Do not download, resend, or attach suspected illegal material; provide the URL and account details instead.

Staff review and escalation

Only authorized personnel may review suspected CSAM reports or related evidence. Staff must log the report, restrict access, preserve records, escalate to the designated safety lead, avoid unnecessary copying of illegal material, and document all decisions, disclosures, and follow-up actions.

Preservation and access

Relevant account, upload, report, review, and disclosure records are preserved for at least five years or longer where law or a legal hold requires. Access is limited to authorized personnel and disclosures are made only for safety, legal, or investigative purposes.
