Consumer Age Verification Policy

This policy applies to consumers who seek access to pornographic content on RevealThis. It explains when age assurance is required, the standards applied to available methods, how failed or disputed outcomes are handled, and how verification records are protected.

Reveal This LTD is responsible for the access decision. A specialist verification provider may perform the underlying check, but provider involvement does not transfer our responsibility to keep restricted content inaccessible until a valid result is recorded.

RevealThis requires age assurance before a UK user can encounter pornographic content. We may also require it in other regions, for unknown or unavailable location signals, after verification expiry, or where account and risk signals require a fresh check.

Login, payment, a previous visit, or an account age declaration does not bypass a required check. Before successful verification, pornographic images, video, previews, titles, or other material produced principally for sexual arousal must remain inaccessible.

The restriction applies across public pages, creator profiles, feeds, search and discovery surfaces, previews, direct content routes, and authenticated account journeys. A frontend redirect alone is not treated as the security control; protected access must also be enforced by the service that supplies the content or media.

Age assurance may be provided through a specialist vendor using methods assessed for technical accuracy, robustness, reliability, and fairness. The available method may vary by region and can include identity-document checks, facial age estimation, or another legally accepted age-assurance method.

We review provider evidence, threshold settings, false-acceptance and false-rejection risk, presentation-attack resistance, bypass risks, user outcomes, complaints, accessibility, and material service changes. We do not treat self-declaration, a general payment card, or an unverified account as sufficient where highly effective age assurance is required.

Where an estimation result does not meet the configured adult threshold, access remains blocked and the user may be offered an appropriate alternative method, such as an identity-document check. RevealThis does not convert an inconclusive or failed result into a pass.

A successful result creates a limited verification state associated with the relevant browser session or account. Verification states expire and may be revoked. They must not be transferred, shared, replayed, or used by another person.

We may require a fresh check following expiry, logout or account changes, inconsistent location or session signals, suspected circumvention, provider or method changes, a safety incident, or evidence that the original decision may no longer be reliable.

Creators and depicted performers must complete enhanced identity and adult-age verification before approval. Monetized publishing remains blocked until creator onboarding, performer coverage, required releases, and moderation checks are complete.

We may require reverification when evidence expires, identity data changes, records mismatch, a complaint is received, or law and provider requirements change.

Creator and performer verification is an additional compliance process. A consumer age-assurance result does not qualify a person to publish, appear in, or monetize adult content.

We seek to receive and retain the verification result, provider reference, method category, timestamps, and audit information needed to demonstrate compliance rather than unnecessary raw identity or biometric material. Providers may process identity documents or facial data under their own privacy terms and our contractual controls.

Age-assurance data is access-restricted and retained only for defined legal, safety, fraud, dispute, and audit purposes. Access is limited to authorized personnel and service providers with a legitimate need. Further information appears in the Privacy Policy.

If a session fails or expires, restart it through Verify Age. Where a method fails or is not reasonably accessible, contact Support for available alternatives or human review guidance.

Users may challenge an incorrect outcome or raise an accessibility or privacy concern. Adult content remains restricted while the outcome is unresolved. Support cannot manually waive a legally required check or mark a user verified without acceptable evidence from an approved process.

Suspected misuse, shared verification states, technical bypasses, or false evidence may result in revocation, account restriction, investigation, and preservation of relevant records.

RevealThis maintains an age-assurance risk assessment, records the basis for its chosen methods and thresholds, reviews material changes, and monitors completion, failure, challenge, and suspected-bypass outcomes. Significant incidents are escalated to the designated safety or compliance owner and remediated promptly.

Material decisions, configuration changes, incidents, and complaints are documented sufficiently to support internal review and lawful regulatory or processor enquiries. This policy is reviewed at least annually and after a material legal, provider, method, or service change.
